The team responsible for ensuring your experience at OxIMUN is enjoyable.

Secretary-General

Hi all, I’m Joe, and I’m delighted to be your Secretary-General for OxIMUN 2025. I have been doing Model UN for nearly 10 years now, and I continue to be inspired by the people I meet and the ideas I discuss at Model UN conferences. I aim to make OxIMUN an innovative conference that inspires all of you as well as providing an opportunity to make life long friends.

Director-General

My name is Shraddha Gautam and I am currently a law student at St Catherine’s College, Oxford. I have chaired two previous conferences and attended numerous more in my time. I have always found MUNs to be a melting pot of politics and positive debate, which has brought me back to participating. MUN also brings two things I value deeply: fostering meaningful discussion and empowering others to engage critically with global issues. I look forward to welcoming you all to OxIMUN 2025!

Hello, I am a biology undergraduate at Christ Church, Oxford. When not in lectures or the lab, I can be found horse riding or fencing whilst also trying to get through my endless personal reading list. I have been passionately involved with MUN for close to a decade, first competing as a delegate winning multiple awards throughout Europe, before then chairing a wide range of conferences. I was formerly the Secretary-General of RGS Guildford and as USG of Operations aim to create an exciting and interesting conference that will premier a style of crisis that will be sure to impress. I wish all delegates a fruitful debate.

Under-Secretary-General (Academics)

Hi, I’m Anika Nusrat, a passionate MUNer, I am pursuing Masters in Business Law , University of law . with experience both as a delegate and a chair at conferences like CUIMUN, LSEMUN, UCLMUN, and OxIMUN! One thing I truly love about Oxford is how it blends academic brilliance with breathtaking beauty — every corner inspires curiosity. What I’m most looking forward to at OxIMUN is the energy of meaningful debate, meeting brilliant minds from around the world, and being part of a conference that champions diplomacy and inclusion.

Fun fact: I’ve written a poetry book — so if you ever need a metaphor during a resolution debate, I’ve got you covered!

Under-Secretary-General (Delegates)

I started MUN less than a year ago and have participated in LiMUN and MainMUN as a delegate! My favourite thing about Oxford is the detailed architecture! I think OxiMUN is great at it will bring delegates with diverse experiences together from all over the world

Hello! I am Amelia, a German student at Somerville College, Oxford. I am relatively new to MUN, chairing for the first time at OACMUN in September. I love how passionate the City of Oxford is; it is full of people who really care about the world and want to change it for the better. Therefore, Oxford is the ideal place for a conference like this! I look forward to hearing the diversity of ideas and array of experiences the delegates will bring.
